The Taco Block is made of 100% natural wood. The Taco Block does not need to be ‘seasoned’. It is ready to use.
The Taco Block should be cleaned before the 1st use.
Wooden kitchenware is maintained using oil. The taco block is submerged in oil with every use, therefore maintaining with oil is likely not necessary.
If a build-up is noticed use a 1:1 ration of distilled white vinegar and water to clean. rinse and dry well before storing.
The taco block is safe to use in all types of cooking oil.
