Caring for Your Taco Block
The Taco Block is made of 100% natural wood. The Taco Block does not need to be ‘seasoned’. It is ready to use.
The Taco Block should be cleaned before the 1st use.
- Wash by hand in hot soapy water
- Use the scratchy side of the sponge
- Never wash in the dishwasher
- Never soak in water
Wooden kitchenware is maintained using oil. The taco block is submerged in oil with every use, therefore maintaining with oil is likely not necessary.
If a build-up is noticed use a 1:1 ration of distilled white vinegar and water to clean. rinse and dry well before storing.
The taco block is safe to use in all types of cooking oil.
